AZN Asian Excellence Awards 2007

Premiered on AZN Television, Monday, May 28, 2007 @ 8pm ET/PT. Daniel Dae Kim of Lost and Grace Park of Battlestar Galactica hosted the award show. “Many Asian and Asian American were honored for their achievement in entertainment, sports, the arts and other disciplines that have had a profound impact on American culture.”

AZN Asian Excellence Awards isn’t as big or glamorous or well known as other American award shows you seen, but AEA stood for something significant and meaningful in the Asian community because it recognizes the excellence and achievement of Asian and Asian American. It has become a positive and supportive figure to all Asians to continue their involvement to whatever that they do.

I watched and liked the show. I thought it was good, but just too short (1hr and a half). I believe in the future the show will expand. My favorite parts of the show were the comedians, Margaret Cho, Dat Phan, and Russell Peters. Also like the hosts, Daniel & Grace, both are good looking. And it was a very funny moment when John Cho presented Kal Penn with his award. John hugged Kal and grabbed his behind. Haha. I loved them in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. Uh, what else? I want to say more, but my mind is sort of blank right now. Maybe because it is 2:01 AM in the morning while I’m typing this. I need my sleep in order to wake up for the 11:00 AM news on AZN, it’s SBTN, Vietnamese news. (Sidetrack)…
