Thuy Nga is coming out with an online singing talent show search to look for a new wave of stars for Thuy Nga Paris by Night. For all the folks who's been trying to get into Vietnamese showbiz overseas, here is another chance for ya. Watch the video to find out more.
V-STAR Ngôi Sao Đêm Nay is an online and television Singing Talent show co-produced by three of the well respected organizations in their fields: Thuy Nga Entertainment, VietFace TV, and Dancesation. V-STAR's primary purpose is to discover the next wave of stars for Thuy Nga Paris By Night productions. For only the second time in its 30 years history, Thuy Nga Entertainment will open its door to welcome people worldwide to participate in this long-awaited and exciting competition. This show offers ordinary people, ages from 16-70, a once in a life time chance to realize their dreams of performing on Thuy Nga Paris By Night stage. This show will be produced in an online and reality television format.
The six-month show will include two segments: Online Audition and On-Stage Audition & Competition. The Online audition will run from December 15th, 2011 through March 15th, 2012. Applicants will submit their demo songs and pictures to be voted by online Audience and Thuy Nga's Talent Team to advance to the On-Stage Audition. The Online audition will be held exclusively online. The On-Stage audition and competition will run from Early April through Mid June. The On-Stage segment will be broadcasted on television. The On-Stage show will be broadcasted by VietFace TV via 57.2 in Southern California, 50 US states and Canada via VietFace TV affiliates and Satellite Galaxy 19, and worldwide via online streaming at VietFaceTV.com. In addition, a Special Edition DVD will be released worldwide By Thuy Nga Entertainment in summer of 2012.
The Judges' Choice winner will receive a 2 year contract with Thuy Nga Paris By Night. The People's Choice winner will win a $10,000 USD prize. Thuy Nga reserves the rights to sign contracts with other finalists after the show. Thuy Nga Talent Team will listen to each and every audition demo submitted. This is the only time in the foreseeable future that Thuy Nga will evaluate your demo. So whether you aspire to be a professional singer for Thuy Nga Paris By Night or simply just want to have the once-in-a-lifetime experience of performing on stage in front of a worldwide TV and DVD audience, the first step is to sign up for the Online Audition at http://www.vstarshow.com/application. Although the Online Audition is opened from Dec 15, 2011 -- March 15, 2012, we reserve the right to close the audition before the deadline if the number of applicants is higher than we anticipate; it is highly recommended that you submit your audition early.
