Thẩm Thúy Hằng 's real name is Nguyễn Kim Phụng born in 1941 in Hải Phòng and grew up in An Giang, Vietnam. At the age of 16 she won Mỹ Vân's Film Company actor search contest and received the stage name Thẩm Thúy Hằng. She became among the top Asian stars in the 1960-70 and was a symbol of beauty. For her first role she starred in the movie "Người đẹp Bình Dương" in 1958. She then partook in multiple film projects and soon became a household name. Tham Thuy Hang held the record for starring in the most films of her time. Take a look her some of her photos below. After many decades, where is the actress now and does her beauty still hold true? She's currently living with her husband, Nguyen Xuan Oanh in Saigon, Vietnam. Tham Thuy Hang has four sons, Nguyen Xuan Dung, Xuan Viet, Xuan Quoc, and Quoc Viet all successful in their life. She doesn't appear much in public, but still tries to attend charity event to help out at the best of her abilities.

[Re-blogged from: VietChannel ] Popular Vietnamese teen idol Toc Tien (literally meaning Angel hair), known for her sophisticated and soulfulvoice (and for the irony in her name with her naturally frizzy hair–yes I know she was really named after the flower “Toc Tien” but the irony is in its literal translation) , is currently studying abroad here in the States. Tien says that she has already put off this plan twice(in 2007 & 2008) since she started highschool due to important bookings that wouldn’t allow her the convenience to leave, but as she and her parents have once again talked, they’ve realized her education couldn’t wait any longer. On February 19th, 2009, Tien packed her bags for San Francisco, CA.
