Ngo Thanh Van celebrated her 33th birthday this year on February 26, 2012 with family, friends and students. Many came to wish the actress a happy birthday including Johnny Tri Nguyen who was rumored to have some "friction" with Ngo Thanh Van to the point where they were "avoiding" each other at events . However, in a recent interview with Dantri , Johnny Tri Nguyen claimed that he and Ngo Thanh Van are close friends and his present at her birthday party is the clearest evident. After much controversies and gossips surrounding the infamous couple of Johnny Tri Nguyen and Ngo Thanh Van , they are now avoiding each other. During the premiere of the movie ' Thế Giới Ngầm Trỗi Dậy ', the pair did not come across path once despite being present at the same outing. When Johnny Tri Nguyen saw Ngo Thanh Van posed for the camera, he hurried away inside. It seems as though they are avoiding contact, but their outfits for the night show similarities in pattern and color revealing something we might not know about. At the start of 2012, Ngo Thanh Van was working on " Ngoi Nha Trong Hem " while Johnny Tri Nguyen was back with his brother Charlie Nguyen in a comedy film " Cưới Ngay Kẻo Lỡ ."
