Veteran singer Ý Lan has a foundation title “Sweet Dreams” to promote women’s health issue among the Vietnamese America community toward breast cancer. The foundation wants to create awareness and educate people about the issue as well, so that people can seek early help. Ý Lan, herself also had the same battle with breast cancer. “Sweet Dreams” will actually come to the person's house and take care of them. They will do many things such as cooking for the person battling cancer who lives alone and with no family or friends to support them. Last time, I posted “ A Day in the life of Kỳ Duyên ” that featured pictures of Kỳ Duyên in Vietnam. Below are more from the collection that Kỳ Duyên herself shared. Recently, after Trịnh Hội was reported to be working in VN , and now filming a movie , there has been lots of rumors going around about Kỳ Duyên & Trịnh Hội divorcing, and many interviews questioning the situation. Many people were not happy in the first place when Kỳ Duyên & Trịnh Hội paired up so they are hoping something would go wrong eventually. I don't know what to think. I hope they stay together and not let the media or their career choice get to their marriage.

Singer Quang Dũng and Jennifer Phạm welcomes a baby boy, Thái An Nam in February of 2008. After much rumors about the anticipated birth of the couple's baby, images now surface along with an interview with Quang Dũng about his joy with his newborn son. The singer was very excited that a month before the birth of his son, he went out to purchase items such as pillows and blankets from Vietnam, claiming that pillows made in the U.S are too high and causes pain in the neck for the baby. Quang Dũng has also stopped much of his singing in the last two months to care for his newborn while his wife Jennifer continues schooling. As for the reasons behind the baby's name, Quang Dũng wanted his baby to have a pleasant life. And the name An Nam sounds very peaceful and calming. (An Nam is also an old name of Vietnam). The total number of guests came up close to 500 people who showed up at the Hyatt Hotel in Huntington Beach, California. Besides family, and friends were also many famous faces such as Hà Phương’s sister Minh Tuyết , Kỳ Duyên , Trúc Linh , Lương Tùng Quang , Như Loan , Tâm Đoan, and Hồ Lê Thu . During the event, Hà Phương announced the birth of her charity foundation, Hà Phương Foundation that she and her husband Chín Chu founded, which they donated 1 million dollars to.
