Miss Universe 2007: Miss Japan, Riyo Mori

Miss Universe 2007 took place in Mexico City, Mexico Monday May 28, 2007 @ 9PM ET on NBC. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the show. (I don’t remember what I was doing at the time). Anyway, I want to congratulate Miss Japan, Riyo Mori on her winning. She looks really pretty and already there is scandal news about her. Wow, people sure work fast. I just hope to not see Donald Trump again. He needs to find someone thing else to do with his time. Beside the highlight crowning of Miss Universe 2007, our very own Miss USA took the spotlight for her fall. Ouch. I’m glad she handled it like a pro.

Although Riyo Mori is indeed beautiful, I believe the crown rightfully belongs to Miss Korea, Lee Ha-Nee. There are those that site political reasons behind that choice.

Remembering Minh Tri & Viet Thi

They were a cute couple on Vân Sơn Entertainment show and also off stage as well. After courtship, Minh Trí and Việt Thi married and had two daughters. However in 2007, it seems that the two separated after Minh Trí (AKA Johnny Trí Nguyen) kicked off his career by starring in The Rebel - Dòng Máu Anh Hùng costarring Ngô Thanh Vân (AKA Veronica Ngo).
