Hong Nhung's Fiancé

For those who are curious to what Hong Nhung's soon to be husband looks like, at the top is a picture from three years ago that has been spreading on the Internet for a quite a while now. I wanted to post about it awhile back as well but simple forgotten. Hong Nhung’s fiancé Kevin is an American who is 3 years younger than she is. Kevin spent a period of time working and living and in Vietnam for quite awhile. The wedding for two was scheduled at the end of this year. They were recently engaged in June of 2007 in what has been called a “Hollywood” style ceremony. What are you thoughts?

Thank you for clarifying. However, which one is the one just getting married with an American man? Which one is the one having all kinds of music video published on the Net via http://fr.truveo.com (she dresses as if she is modeling for some magazine)? I started to listen to Vietnamese music and found this Hong Nhung's voice on these video clips pretty nice. Which one people calls "Diva"?

Hong Nhung is the one is marry. The other one is Nguyen Hong Nhung who was involved in a sex scandal when her video was leaked on the internet by a former bf. Hong Nhung I would say is more famous for her singing in VN and US. Nguyen Hong Nhung has only come into the singing scene recently in the U.S and is currently singing for Asia Entertainment.

Ms. Karly,Which Vietnamese female singer do you think would be the one I should listen to, when it comes to "sweet songs"? Nowadays, there are many of them from Vietnam who seem to "yell and scream" instead of singing (an example: Phuong Thanh in her videos not only yells and screams but acts terribly bad and her choregraphic dances on stage do not jive with the songs she sings - or another, My tam, who also screams on top of her lungs!). I found the Hong Nhung in the videos published on truveo.com having a pretty nice voice and she also looks good. This is my personal opinion.

Hm.. Both Hong Nhung and NHN are good. There are a some NHN videos on youtube that you should check. I personally like Hong Nhung better just because I come to know her longer. I only know NHN recently.

What do you think about Thanh Ha? and Pham Thanh Thao? For Vietnamese male singer, which one would you think is the one with a good voice, besides Bang Kieu who seems to "dominate" the scene at the present time? I am very new to the Vietnamese music and would like to know more about Vietnamese people's opinion on this matter. Thank you very much for your comments/advices.

Thanh Ha is a good singer. She has a strong voice, and is also smoothing in slow songs. I don't know much about Pham Thanh Thao. As for as U.S. singers go, there isn't many good male singers besides those who sing the old school songs such as Truong Vu, Manh Quynh, Che Linh, and so forth. Thuy Huong is not new.. she has been around for a few years now I think. She started out with Anh Minh, they were in a group call Purity. But now they went solo. Thuy Huong is from the states.

I personally like Hong Nhung much more than Nuygen Hong Nhung..She has a style and delivery of her songs that is powerful yet touching to me. I own her “Nhu Chan Vac Bay” album and when I want to listen to something that is pure beauty I get the MP3 player cranked up and choose Hong Nhung . She is my favorite female Vietnamese singer.

Remembering Minh Tri & Viet Thi

They were a cute couple on Vân Sơn Entertainment show and also off stage as well. After courtship, Minh Trí and Việt Thi married and had two daughters.
