After starring in the movie Dong Mau Anh Hung- The Rebel, Johnny Tri Nguyen (AKA Minh Tri) and Ngo Van Thanh (AKA Veronica Ngo) gained much popularity abroad. As a result, they appeared in Thailand’s OK! magazine and Thailand’s Image and in very imitate pictures. In OK! magazine the two appeared on the cover with other famous celebrities worldwide with a five page spread interview about their work and everyday life.
In Image magazine, Johnny Tri Nguyen and Ngo Thanh Van appeared in several photos capturing them to be like real life couples with the title, “This thing called love.” With all fame and popularity that comes with “The Rebel” and its stars, will this be a turning point for the Vietnamese movie industry and for Vietnamese celebrities to be connected with audiences abroad?
Johnny Tri Nguyen and Ngo Van Thanh’s intimate photos and recent fame caused many rumors on the Internet about their relationship outside of the film. Furthermore, many people questioned if Minh Tri had left his wife, singer Viet Thi. The two has a daughter together and were first known singing together on many of Van Son Entertainment music production. It seems that Viet Thi has disappeared into the background while her husband take on the public scene side by side with his costar Ngo Thanh Van. Although much of the things going on are for publicity for the movie, but it does bring up questions of how Viet Thi is taking in all of this. Is she happy for her husband's success or is she a bit jealous seeing the intimate photos?
It is good that Jonhny Tri Nguyen and Ngo Thanh Van are getting much publicity for the movie and starting to become an icon in Thailand. It is something that we don’t see often. Will the sucess of Jonhny Tri Nguyen and Ngo Thanh Van make others want to invest more into Vietnamese movie industry? What are your thoughts?

keep it nice and clean-especially those fouled-mouthed individuals, and it wouldnt hurt to check your grammars once in a while either. "let only their audiences to judge their performances, but let themselves and their close ones to evaluate them on their morals and standing." so leave what was meant to be behind close doors closed. "please dont hate just appreciate" ^.^much love everyone...
