What's On Your Playlist?

I'm constantly listening to different songs base on what mood I am in and also to check out stuff from people who are releasing a CD. Speaking of that Quang Lê's CD is out, go to thuyngaonline.com for more info. By the way, I'm still waiting for Thuy Nga 91 Huê, Saigon, and Hanoi to be out. I wonder how the new poster will be like without Hoài Linh on it. Asia also released some new CDs, such as the soundtrack for Journey From the Fall, Vượt Sóng and a Lâm Thúy Vân CD. I like Lam Truong, Dan Truong, Bao Thuy, Luong Bich Huu (only some of her songs, some are annoying), Quang Vinh. I hope I spell those right. I don't know why but Vietnamese singers here lack talent compare to the ones at home. Their music is not original, and most are copycat, doing the same old songs over and over (and not good at that too). Some of the girls have no class and are only eye candy and same to some guys *cough* Luong Tung Quang.

Lol. I agree somewhat. Haha. Yeah, it's hard to find great singers and great music nowadays. It is just a hard industry and the Vietnamese music industry over isn't a big one compared to in VN, so that a disadvantage somewhat. Also singers don't get pay much, so what do you expect. Also not many people are writing songs. As for VN music, I only have problem with some the new songs created by the younger musicians; it is all the same beat and the same love problem lines with no complication or anything new. That's all. Thanks for posting. Hehe.

No wonder. I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. Have you heard Bao Thy "khoc them lan nua" and "xat muoi?" I'm not sure if they're typical or not. Love your blog.

Remembering Minh Tri & Viet Thi

They were a cute couple on Vân Sơn Entertainment show and also off stage as well. After courtship, Minh Trí and Việt Thi married and had two daughters. Ever since, a new couple emerges that has people talking whether Ngô Thanh Vân is the third person or that the fame is the cause to the destruction of Minh Trí & Việt Thi. Whatever the reasons are, viewers are truly sad and miss the cute couple that once appeared on Vân Sơn's stage. Below are pictures, a list of songs performed by Minh Trí & Việt Thi and other tidbits.
