Miss Vietnam Global Scandal Continues...





































With the next Miss Vietnam Global scheduled for July 5, 2008, the show continues to get free press. After former Miss Vietnam Global winner Linda Vi Trâm Nguyễn speaks that the show itself is a scam, no surprise here. While questions about the show’s validity, and integrity continue to be talk about, Vietnamese girls everywhere dive into this pit hole without any hesitation, for moments of fame, money, and false hope. And the scandal continues, when documents leak on the Internet forums about the possible “secret” marriage of Linda Vi Trâm Nguyễn, which would be against the rules of Miss Vietnam Global that states contestants should not have any current, or previous marriage. Could this be a counter attack against Linda Vi Trâm Nguyễn to say that her title was unrightfully in the first place, so she doesn’t deserve the prize money? This news is not good for both parties, and especially is bad for Miss Vietnam Global organization, since the show itself haven't been getting good talks. Of course there is a possibility of the documents being a fake. However, it is time we tell everyone to let bygones be bygones. A show, organization such as Miss Vietnam Global deserves its winner.

I sometimes wonder if half the girls competing to become Miss Vietnam even know what they're in for. I dont want say that they're clueless, but do they really know what they're doing. I just hope they dont lose their hopes and make complete fools of themselves. They have so much more potential, they shouldn't waste it on these modeling competitions.

Her signature is definitely interesting. She put the accent on "Nguyen". In any case, she participated in every pageant under the sun and finally won. She should have just let it be instead of giving free press to MVG.

I dont think she should've won. Liars will be liars and its unfair that she didnt follow rules and regulations of the pageant. Im sure the marriage was fake for money just because its so popular now, nonetheless she should have to repay the prize money, her winning was illegitimate

I don't understand why everything positive is always confronted with controversy... The rules state that during and prior to the competition, the contestants must've never been married. It does not violate the rules of the pageant if her marriage was fake, does it?

Didn't this beauty queen Tiffany Pham get married too before she won her Miss Vietnam Universe?
