Asia 4 Should Just Retire?

In the words of a friend of mine, who thinks, “Asia 4 should just retired” already. They should just go away and not come back anymore. The group consisted of Cardin Nguyễn, Evan Lê, Spencer Nguyễn, and James Nguyễn. Might sound a bit harsh, but the age of boy bands are over, long gone. Asia 4 wasn’t all that great when they started, all they have was Cardin who was pretty much set on going solo. The group was an even bigger mess after Cardin left. Yet Asia Entertainment likes to bring them back and present them in a way like they were once “big hits." In Asia 57, marked the reunion of Asia 4 together with Cardin when they sang Bad Boys Blue Medley. Then in Asia 58, what's left of Asia 4 returned again and again and again. Let's hear what my friend SH has to say...

"Asia 4, are they suppose to be Asian group of Backstreet Boys? If they are, then they have failed at life. They look like old drunk men wiggling around on stage with their slowly dying body image. Before, when they had Cardin with them, they sung English songs marketed to the younger audience. But after Cardin left, they begin singing Vietnamese songs. However, that doesn't help their popularity at all since for one, they can’t really sing that well. I don't know if I should just mute the volume when watching them or just skip their performance. *Sigh* Where are all the talented Viet guys? Apparently, NOT in Asia 4.Why do they even have a group? When half of the members don't even sing, beside that one guy, Spencer? The rest look more like back up dancers then singers. I hope they could save their kids the embarrassment and retire already. Personally, I think, they are just taking up air space. Haha."

OUCH! What harsh words. This post was made so SH could get her rage out after seeing Evan, Spencer, and James' performance on Asia 58. Now it's your turn to voice. What are your thoughts? (YIKES run SH, Asia 4 fans are gunning for us!)

I don't particularly think it's Asia 4, I think it's ASIA Entertainment who has no clue. There are plenty of unsigned talent waiting to be discovered but instead they choose these 4 chums to perform and butcher old classics. I agree, without Cardin, they're "Asia 4 Retirement!"

i thought asia4 was technically already "retired." they hardly ever perform together anymore, if ever. i thought they were just one of those groups that goes solo and then every now and then join together for duets or tri-et(?)s or something. they weren't that bad when they started but there wasn't any momentum so they sorta just died out. that's sorta too bad but, o well right?

You guys are a bit harsh to say trash about singers from Asia. It's just betrayal and mean - however I think they have been in Asia long enough, if they retired at this time then fans and SOME people will remember the good times Asia 4 performed, instead leaving when people spread evil stuff about them.

LOL at the comments. They're scary. If I were walking down the street and see those 4 guys walking by me, I would speed walk the other way.

They were pretty decent during the pop era but then it all went downhill when they tried to do hiphop

How old are they?!? Wow...their voices are alright...just don't dance.

I used to see Asia 4 as a novelty act and now I see them as a complete joke, but I dont think it's entirely their fault. Cardin shouldnt have left, now they're all screwed..

Well, they probably get paid really cheap and that is why they are still around. But wasnt it after the first show that Asia 4 started to replace a lot of people. Cardin left cause he was the main if not only song writer and why should he get pay less if he's doing most of the work? But yeah, Asia 4 is so lame, it's not even a cohesive group anymore.
