Leyna Nguyễn Won 2 Emmys


















Emcee, reporter, and news anchor Leyna Nguyễn from KCAL-TV Los Angeles won two awards at the 60th Annual 2008 Emmy Awards Saturday night September 6, 2008 according to http://cdn.emmys.tv/. The two awards were due to her hosting the “2007 Special Olympics Summer Games” and “Heal the Bay.” In the past Leyna Nguyễn has won one Emmy Awards and with seven total nominations. She received the two awards just two months after giving birth to her second child. Leyna Nguyễn used to work for KCRA Sacramento and WRDW-TV Augusta, Georgia. Congrats!

the emmy has diff parts, they show the big stars on a night and other awards at another time.. thats why

She's not that great. She's great because the viet community makes her so. She's just an ok reporter with a weird Bac Ky accent.

I don't think she has Bac accent. Her family come from Heu. But anyway, i think the reason why people like her because of the way she looks. She's not that pretty but when she talks, she knows what to do with her body language =]

I like Leyna Nguyen as an MC on Miss Viet Nam Global 2007 show, the way she carried herself, her voice, her body language, her conversation are unique. Educated, pretty and smart woman. She is a role model for the young Vietnamese women.
