April 30th Commemoration in Houston, TX.

Yup, it is around that time of the year. Although I don't pay too much attention to the events that place each and every year on this day, others are really into it. So I thought you'd like to know what went down in Houston, Texas. This is just an example, other places where Vietnamese people reside there is at least a small gathering similar to this one. A friend said to me, "Why can't we celebrate the freedom that many of us receive..." instead of living in sorrow and mostly in the past. *Shrug* Check out some photos below and don't forget to share your thoughts about this day. Ok, that's pretty low. If people decide to use April 30th or whatever date as a day of remembrance, the very least you could do is respect them. Will you be saying the same thing when Memorial Day comes around? Will you be looking down on people who decide to attend church or a vigil instead of having fun and partying? Try to understand or at least respect their position. If you can't, then either you are a commie sympathizer or just plain immature and superficial.
