Asia to Host Miss Vietnam Heritage Pageant

After taking much heat from their scandal involving Giong Ca Vang 2011, Asia Entertainment is switching their game play and investment into an upcoming beauty pageant titled "Miss Vietnam Heritage." Interestingly one of the allegations involving Giong Ca Vang 2011 is that the show was not picking the best voice but rather choosing looks as if it was a beauty pageant. Now with Miss Vietnam Heritage to look forward to, Asia can straightly pick beauty over talent and crown people with backstage connections. [Just joking, but you know what I mean, just wait and see. There surely will be another scandal at the end of summer 2012.] The deadline to apply is April 16, 2012. Winners will get "...a chance to represent our community in causes that count, appear in an Asia Entertainment production and a $10,000 cash prize..." For more info on this beauty pageant, click here. If you're interested in signing up, you can download the application, here and send to MissVietnamHeritage@gmail.com. Let me know what you think.

At first I was so happy to see this pageant by Asia, then I saw the prize for the winner. Asia is actually not making a pageant but Asia is finding a new host/face to represent Asia and SBTN. That means this pageant is only for people inside US since people from Europe cant have a chance to win this contest! This pageant sucks! Why is ASIA getting worse and worse?

I think non-Americans can join and win. They don't necessarily have to work for SBTN/Asia but make a few appearances here and there...kind of similar to those videos where the beauty queens were showcased.

I think the Vietnamese community is already saturated withbeauty pageants
