Thuy Nga's Producer Talks Trash about Quang Le



According to recent gossip, Thuy Nga's executive producer To Ngoc Thuy (Marie To) sent Quang Le and his family an email, which she attached a video of the singer's appearance on VTV3, a television station in Vietnam. The video was emailed to her by a viewer. So in order to not affect the production company's name and adding on to further misunderstandings with viewers that Thuy Nga encourages their singers to appear on Vietnam television, Quang Le will not be asked to appear on the upcoming Paris by Night 105 in Foxwood Casino.



Despite saying that the company does not want any misunderstanding from viewers, Marie To would traveled to Vietnam to buy movies to show on VietFaceTV and to Hanoi to bribe the officials there so they could film Paris by Night in Hanoi. Rumors also revealed that one of VietFaceTV's owners is a senior Vietnamese cadre. Marie To also emailed to all Thuy Nga's singers to stigmatize Quang Le. However, this is all gossip and it could be that someone or a group of people are plotting against Thuy Nga and trying to ruin the relationship between Marie To and Quang Le. I’m just wondering.. how is Marie To any different? She and her family dined and associated with VCs, her production hires Vietnamese singers from VN who has appeared on television stations in VN, VietFace TV hires singers from VN as well, Thuy Nga singers are able to go back to VN and have concerts now, and Ky Duyen has her own restaurant in VN. If the company does not want any misunderstandings with viewers, the owners themselves should start looking at the singers’ actions AND their own. She can ask Quang Le to take a temporary leave, but what will she do when Toc Tien continues to debut in Vietnam? What about Minh Tuyet, Huong Lan, Khanh Ly, and Elvis Phuong who are going back to VN to perform?
I don’t think Mrs. To is totally unaware of any these happenings. Why did she take action only for Quang Le? That’s right.. because fans complained. Unless fans complain about other singers, I don’t think she’ll do anything about it.

Paris By Night is suppose to be the representation of Vietnamese overseas and the freedom that we've earned from escaping Vietnam. Nguyen Ky Duyen is the daughter of south Vietnam vice-president - the face of freedom and non-communist-the true voice of the people. But instead goes to Vietnam, acts like she super high class- works for VN gov't - and takes money from Vietnam. WTH??? She's a straight up traitor and PBN and it's southern supporter aren't saying anything-why? Because all anyone cares about is making money and obtaining any kind of relations or status -without having to work hard for it. Marie To, Ky Duyen, Thanh Ha, Minh Tuyet, and other PNB singers go to VN and act all Viet Kieu but in reality they all are lost dogs with no place in America. If you are all that, be a success in America not a 3rd world country. PNB disappoints me and the people that admire PBN are lost in make believes. Nice stage-big names-expensive props-big tits-don't make up real music. With good and true music all you need is a band and mic. Ohhhhh right most PBN singers lip-sync and wobble around the stage. PBN was the shit in the beganning but with time and technology, instead of getting better and bigger, PBN gets crappier and cheaper. Like a big musical with no real music. And correct if you want to change the singers, first the producers have to change, and learn what GOOD music is.

So if PBN severed their relationship with QuangLe because of his appearance on VN TV, they should take a closer look at their other singers (who may or may not appear on TV), but have made numerous appearances in VN - ie. Phi Nhung, Huong Lan, Minh Tuyet just to name a few. Also look at MC - Ky Duyen and her own VC connection. PBN should also look at themselves and their own involvement. PBN is a joke.

Don't be so narrow minded, people. We don't owe each other a livings so pls don't associate Vietnam with VC and say that the singers cannot perform here and there. Although the government is VC but not all Vietnamese living in Vn is VC. We just don't care about politics, we care only that we are of the same race and culture root so please be light on others. If they work hard for a better life then why do you go and critize them?? Wake up!

All this VC singers are puppets so the VC government can say look to our "Viet Kieus" - they are successful because of our work[the vc party] for the Vietnamese society.

And Marie To doesn't know what's mainstream music, instead of copying pop music from South Korea or Taiwan she should hire Vietnamese composers to create new songs.

Paris by Night is so westernized today. I don't see the reason why it should still be called "Paris by Night" when there's nothing french-influenced about their shows anymore. It's really sad that they completely lost the European culture in their shows like back in the day. It used to be called "Thuy Nga PARIS" but eventually they changed it to just "Thuy Nga". Change Paris by Night too.

Agreed with the show losing its original traits that made it enjoyable back in the day. It's been years since they've actually made a production in Paris. Would love for a show to be filmed here again, but I guess it all depends on the cost and travel issues.

Remembering Minh Tri & Viet Thi

They were a cute couple on Vân Sơn Entertainment show and also off stage as well. After courtship, Minh Trí and Việt Thi married and had two daughters.
