After reported news that the young lawyer is working in Vietnam . Trịnh Hội will also be acting for the first time in an upcoming film project by Chánh Phương, the same people who created the well received movie, The Rebel - Dòng Máu Anh Hùng starring Johnny Trí Nguyễn and Ngô Thanh Vân . The upcoming movie will follow the story of a young man, Dũng, who returns to Vietnam after a long time. He plans to stay for 14 days and in the short time period, he is able change his view on life, people, and especially his relationship with Thảo, a girlfriend who sells beers (bia ôm). The movie of "14 days" will be taped using HD technology and with a budget of 300.000 USD with some new faces such as Trịnh Hội (Dũng), Ngọc Lan (Thảo), Thái Hòa, and Bình Minh. The movie will start filming April 4th, setting in Saigon and Sóc Trăng. The film is planning to release for Christmas of 2008.
