Thanh Ha took her 12 year old daughter Isabella Quynh Tien home to Vietnam to visit the country and also along with her to do charity work as a way for her daughter to understand and love the country more. Arriving in Vietnam, Thanh Ha took her daughter out to the market to select and buy gifts for the charity trip. Then the mother and daughter spent the night sorting out the items and wrapping them in preparation for the next morning leaving at 7 AM. The reason that Thanh Ha chose to start early is because she has to get done in time to return back for a tour. The singer does not much time on hand. Thanh Ha wants to bring her daughter along to understand that in life there are many difficult circumstances that need helping and hope she learns the lesson of a compassionate heart. Thanh Ha shared in an interview her thoughts to the phrase" hồng nhan bạc phận." This phrase talks about women, usually beautiful women who end up with a tragic fate. According to the singer, she rather has beauty and suffers than no beauty and still suffers. Thus she likes the phrase "Thà ngồi khóc trên xe hơi riêng, còn hơn ngồi cười trên xe bus," meaning rather cry on a car than sit on a bus laughing or smiling. Thus she prefer luxury and to be rich than to have happiness and live poor. Furthermore Thanh Ha talks about her struggle as a singer singing for 18 years and how she wishes to have 18 more years. Singer Thanh Ha has a new image with the help of her current boyfriend Roland who helped her remix old Vietnamese classics into a new beat and feeling. As a result is a CD titled " The Evolution of Thanh Ha " premiering April 16, 2011 in Arlington, Texas. On the CD, Thanh Ha did a cover of  "Nobody" by Wonder Girls . Singer Thanh Hà has a new image that is more sophisticated yet still sexy promoting for her latest CD "Ru Lòng Khờ Dại". Recently singer Thanh Hà has cancelled an online chat with viewers due to the pressure from questions about the alleged fight that happened in the summer of 2007. Audiences seem to have not yet forgot about the incident and so they are always trying to bring up relating questions making it hard for Thanh Hà to answer therefore she was forced to cancel the online meeting.
