I just watched Asia 68, Saigon Noi Nho and wanted to share some thoughts on the DVD. If you have been reading my blog, you know I'm not a fan of Asia DVDs. I used to be but not anymore. Where to begin? Well, maybe I'm used to a grand opening with beautiful lights, joyful music and beautiful singers and dancers from Paris By Night that when I watched Asia, I was a bit thrown back. Asia DVDs as of late as has been very dark looking as if not enough lights were invested. It's sad, because Asia has so many good potential singers, especially the young ones. However, these singers do not get to sing songs more fitting for their style or age. They get forced into war songs, sad songs, and bad remix. The only thing I like from this Asia DVD is the comedy. I like that this was a live show. Although not all performances were live, but I give Thuy Nga props for it. If you watch the behind the scenes, Don Ho mentioned about his trouble with the lyrics in that he had to write two words in the palm of his hand as a reminder not to mess up on the lyrics. Thuy Nga wants to produce a DVD that’s close to perfect therefore singing live can bring about many errors. Anyhow, let’s get into details with the latest release of Paris By Night 102 Nhac Yeu Cau- Tinh Ca Lam Phuong What I like: I love all of the songs because they are of quality and among some of the best classics of Vietnamese music. Paris By Night 102 Nhac Yeu Cau - Tinh Ca Lam Phuong will be out soon and before you know it. Here's the official advertising video for it. (I've been feeling ill, so I'm rather slow in posting and also lazy to post as much as I do each day. Good news is that I'm recovering slowly and today I'm feeling better than I did in the past few days. I've seen this video floating around a few days back but I was so tired, I ignored it till now. I know. When you're sick you just don't want to do anything. I posted when I feel most awake and I also make posts for the next day and set it to schedule so that helps).

You might remember Adam Jona , professional ballroom dancer from Budapest, Hungary. He was in Paris By Night 93 & 97 Celebrity Dancing where he danced with Phi Khanh , Khanh Ha , and Luu Bich. Every since his involvement with Thuy Nga, he has been gathering up a good amount of Vietnamese fans and interest from the Vietnamese community in Vietnam, reaching celebrity status. Adam has been working in Vietnam through various projects. He's "looking forward to enriching his already impressive career by focusing his talents within the film industry." A lot of Vietnamese entertainers had return to Vietnam for the wide market and working opportunity to further their career. As you know, singers Quynh Vi and Huy Vu are a couple and they are not hiding it. The two have been together for quite awhile now, at least one or two years now. (I don’t know, not keeping track). You can see them hand in hand at almost every events. Quynh Vi came to us via Paris By Night Talent Show and Huy Vu is regular at Tinh Music Production . Trịnh Hội is currently working in Vietnam in a law firm as well as an upcoming movie, " 14 Days ." There are lots of rumors flying around ever since Trịnh Hội started working in Vietnam. The talks are mainly around the separation between him and his wife Kỳ Duyên . Some suggest that they are splitting up, because Trịnh Hội has found a new love interest in Vietnam. The song was introduced by Ho Le Thu on Paris By Night 89 in Korea . The song was orginally sung by MayBee , with the title " Daso ." Ho Le Thu asked for permission and wrote the Vietnamese version of it including a video she did with a Korean actor. Read my review on PBN 89. Rumors have it that comedian Kieu Oanh left her husband because of a new love. While working together with comedian and singer Le Huynh , she felt in love with him. She was struggling between the relationship with her husband and a new found love. Kieu Oanh married her husband, Lam Quoc Dung not long ago in July of 2005, and it’s been nearly 3 years later. Besides Kieu Oanh, a few others artists in Vietnamese entertainment have had rumors about a separation but mainly because of a new found fame.
