Saigon Yo! also known as Saigon Electric is a hip hop film by Stephane Gauger ( Owl and the Sparrow - Cu Va Chim Se Se ). The film was released on December 17, 2010 in Saigon and other big cities and provinces in Vietnam. Rapper Chosen whose music was featured in the film commented that this film is great because "it's the very first hip hop movie being released in Vietnam!" Saigon Yo! follows the story of Mai, a traditional ribbon dancer from the countryside who goes to Saigon in hopes of being admitted to the national dance academy. The movie will be out in American theaters summer of 2011
