If you 're saying that in order to be Vietnamese, you have to follow under the current "Vietnam's Flag" in order to respect Viet Nam then you're a complete fool.
Flag represent a government system. And whatever system that you are truly belief in , then worship its symbol. But as far as being a Vietnamese, it doesn't matter where you live (inside or outside of Vietnam), who you look like, and what your believe is, as long you are Vietnamese, then you are Vietnamese, and VIETNAM is your country
