Saigon Love Story

"The movie is set in an alternate history of the 1980s. Danh is a young boy growing up in Saigon. Though he should help his mother to sell noodles from a cart out of their home, he often sneaks out to buy cassettes.One day, he inadvertently stumbles into a mysterious beautiful street vendor named Tam, selling her cassette, Saigon Love Story. Intrigued about her music, Danh decides to buy the cassette, only to discover that it is blank. When Danh confronts Tam, he finds that she is penniless and unable to repay him, so she serenades him a song in her cassette. My Comments:
Uh... once again I didn't see the movie but wanted to post into on it. To be honest I'm not looking to see this movie simply because I feel it sucks. Actually I find it funny that Ngo Thanh Van plays a singer in this movie and in reality her singing sucks. This is a set up for my future post on Vietnamese movies by the way. Check out other films, Saigon Eclipse, The Rebel, Derailed Heart, Journey From The Fall and The Spirits.
