You probably heard the fighting story of famous singer Thanh Hà . There are two sides to this story. One side suggested that Thanh Ha went to the 108 Anh Hung Hao Han shop because the storeowner “ Co Lieu ” sent sexy pictures to Thanh Ha’s husband. But another side suggested that Thanh Ha went to the shop looking for Co Lieu’s father and ended up taking a stack of 20 CDs without paying and was stopped by the owner. Thanh Ha claimed that Lieu’s father owned her some CDs. Lieu responded that that is between Thanh Ha and her father, and Thanh Ha should not take CDs from her store. But none of them can truly do what they said because all of them ended up looking like another hopeful pageant with no creditability at all! My Thoughts: It's amazing to see people live that long. If you take a look at the list of the oldest person , many of them are females. I wonder why that is. Hi everyone. So I’m supposed to do a review on Van Son in Taiwan and do a post on artists’ children but I’ve been a bit lazy and tired. Instead I’m doing another video post. This video is a very old one from Tinh Production when Tu Quyen first appeared singing “Nu Hong Mong Manh.” I couldn’t find the exact video but this is close enough, a karaoke version. Tu Quyen is one of favorite singers, and in the future I will do an artist’s profile on her. Enjoy.

I remembered back in the days, especially when I was in high school. It was really hard to find any information on Vietnamese artists. All the things I got were old photos from their youth days or bad quality pictures scan from CD covers. There were some interviews here and there that I got from vietscape.com and that were it. The problem is because America is not our home country. We are just settlers here in America and of course that creates a problem for many things. I am just happy that we got this far and we are able to have music videos in our own language and a TV channel like SBTN (Saigon Broadcasting Television Network) that caters to the Vietnamese community. It is a progress for our community to have our own thing. Entertainment is a big deal, without it we would be very lonely and sad because it is a form of communication and a way to keep our traditions going and to promote our heritage as well as pass it down to the younger generations that may be lost growing up in
