Asia used to be fun to watch but until recently when they get too involved in the Vietnam War and communism . Also there is a big change in singers and MCs. I miss Asia when they had Lam Thuy Van , Thanh Truc , Shayla , Gia Huy , and the old gang of singers who were definitely much better than the new singers nowadays. And making it worse Asia is constantly promoting beauty queens and pageants, which were fun at first and now it is getting annoying and unnecessary. Asia is a big mess. Here are five reasons I don’t watch Asia anymore… 1. There are too many new singers at Asia who cannot sing or carry on a good show. Furthermore they do not look good or have any charm to them. People like Thai Doanh Doanh , Y Phuong , Minh Thong , Khai Tuan , Chau Tuan and more. In Asia 54 , they had talent show winners singing and it was horrible. I think that

Lam Nhat Tien is one of my favorite singers and this is one of my favorite songs of his back in the days. It is so nice to hear this song again and hear his voice. Recently Lam Nhat Tien is struggling a lot to turn over a new leaf by fighting the usage of drugs. I hope he can overcome it and break down the wall to rejoin family and friends.

This is something that I do every summer with my family. I’m really excited; the beach is one my favorite place to go. I just love the sounds and the air, which make me feel so relax. Before Nhu Quynh left Asia, she was their top singer and her status was at the highest peek and the fame continued to rise when she joined Paris By Night but with all the new comers coming to Thuy Nga, Nhu Quynh is no longer their top artist. Congratulate to singers Duy Quang and Yen Xuan . The wedding took place in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on 25th of July 2007. This is not the first marriage for singer Duy Quang who turns 56 this year; he was previous married a few times. Duy Quang and Yen Xuan had their engagement ceremony not long ago in late June. The young singer left Asia Entertainment due to disagreements and the simple fact that the her and Asia are not getting along well and things are not working out. Since she left Asia, Anh Minh has more time to devote to herself and she is working on improving her performances by watching herself on videos. At the moment she doesn’t know what production she will be joining. Also besides singing, Anh Minh is currently studying and goes to school. Thao My , Duc Huy’s ex wife, first sang this song. The song appeared on Paris By Night 12 or so, I’m not sure. It was the one on music of Duc Huy I believe. The music video had Duc Huy and Thao My in it. I like the song and I like Thao My. Too bad years later the two divorced and Duc Huy went back to Vietnam to live and do business there. According to the news Duc Huy was unsuccessful in his recording studio and restaurant business therefore ended up having money problem and became very angry toward his family. There were news that Duc Huy went out with some young girl and was dumped by her and he caused a big fight seeing the girl with other guy. Anyhow I saw Thao My again one of Asia’s recent production. Famous singer Hong Nhung also known as "bống" was recently engaged late last month in June at Vung Tau Resort in Vietnam. The ceremony was made simple yet elegant to her taste. Jennifer Le is the recent winner after competing against 39 other contestants who were of all Vietnamese coming from different parts of the world. Jennifer Le is a 17 year old from Washington State taking home the beauty queen title of Miss Vietnam Global 2007 . The show took place in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas on June 30th 2007 with over 2,000 viewers coming from all around the world. Other winners included Lisa My Thu Ma , 18 who was first runner up; Thu Van Cao Nguyen , 21 was 2nd runner up; Mincy Chau Nguyen , 23, was the third runner up and finally Yen Le , 22, took the fourth runner up title. I know I should have taken a picture of the actual Goi Cuon that I had, but think this picture will do. Haha. So what did everyone do today for those who celebrate it? For me holiday or no holiday it's the same nevertheless because I don’t take much care into them. I find most holidays pointless to celebrate and also it is just another way to make money for businesses. Anyway, today I stayed home and had dinner with my family. I ate a lot of Goi Cuon. It is one of my favorite foods. Also today is my nephew’s birthday, but the actual party will carry out on Saturday instead. And a shout out to him, happy birthday Makai!
